The hardworking Ramp Up Marathon County crew successfully completed Ramp Project RU100 on September 3rd. With a dedicated team of seven volunteers each day, the ramp was built in just two days.
Special thanks go out to everyone who made this possible—the volunteer crew, the design staff, the ADRC, and Habitat for Humanity of Marathon County—for their teamwork and efficiency in bringing accessibility and independence to another community member.
The weather wasn’t on our side, but that didn’t stop our dedicated Ramp Up MC volunteers from completing their first ramp project of the 2025 season last week. Located on the northwest side of the City of Wausau, the project was completed in just three days, thanks to the skill and efficiency of our volunteer builders.
The recipient, who was incredibly grateful, was thrilled to finally have safe and easy access in and out of her home. A huge thank you to our volunteers for their commitment and perseverance in making a difference—rain or shine!
