Our Ramp Up Marathon County crew successfully completed Ramp Project RU103 on June 26. Thanks to a dedicated team of volunteers, the ramp—located east of Wausau—was built in just two days.
Special thanks to everyone who made this possible: the volunteer crew, the design staff, the ADRC, and Habitat for Humanity of Marathon County. Their teamwork and efficiency brought accessibility and independence to another community member.
Imagine being unable to get in or out of your own home because you can't manage the steps. For far too many people in our community, this is reality—and it often leads to isolation or the need to move prematurely into a nursing home or assisted living facility.
